We are looking for a **Finance and Project Controller** to ensure the **financial integrity and profitability of our projects and services**. **Location:** Flexible: Guadalajara, Jal. / Mexico City. *(Availability to travel to Irapuato, Gto. \- plant \- will be required during the first months for training, and subsequently for periodic visits.)* **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field * Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in analytical accounting and financial closing processes * Solid knowledge in project cost control * Mastery of dimension structures, project types and service categorization. * Key Skills: outstanding data analysis ability, team leadership and people management (prior supervisory experience). * Strong financial analysis skills, proactivity and problem-solving. * Desired Experience: In industrial companies, technical services, or construction sector. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Provide functional support to administrative and operational departments in the use of ERP Business Central: warehouse, inventory, purchasing, revenue, billing, accounts receivable/payable and treasury. * Execute data loads through configuration packages in the system. * Open projects and keep the sales table updated, enabling comparative analysis between objectives and actual results. * Control direct and indirect costs per project and service, including maintenance contracts. * Validate monthly project progress coefficients, ensuring accurate estimation of closing margins. * Supervise the monthly closing of projects and services: complete billing, recorded costs, fulfilled and invoiced purchase orders. * Update the project tracking file to determine the amount to be accrued monthly. * Generate weekly billing reports and verify compliance with projections according to production progress. * Supervise assigned team, ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and maintaining data integrity and accuracy within the system.
