Because of this, we would like you to become part of our Work Team as: **Internal Audit Assistant** **Objective:** The primary objective of the internal audit assistant is to contribute to the continuous improvement of the organization by ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. **Education:** Bachelor's degree in accounting. **Experience:** 1 year performing auditing activities. **Responsibilities:** * Information collection: Assists in gathering documents, records, and relevant data for conducting audits. * Documentation preparation: Prepares work programs, checklists, and other necessary documents to carry out evaluations. * Field assistance: Visits different departments and branches to verify compliance with internal controls. * Document review: Analyzes invoices, contracts, bank reconciliations, and other accounting documents to identify potential irregularities. * Risk assessment: Collaborates in identifying and evaluating risks inherent to business processes. * Control verification: Evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls designed to mitigate identified risks. * Identification of weaknesses: Detects areas where internal controls are insufficient or not properly applied. * Findings documentation: Documents observations and findings identified during the audit. * Preparation of preliminary reports: Prepares detailed reports on audit results, including recommendations to improve internal controls. * Documentation updates: Maintains updated audit files and records. **Soft Skills:** Effective communication, Teamwork, Results orientation, Adaptability, Critical thinking. **Hard Skills:** Accounting and financial knowledge, Proficiency in computer tools, Auditing standards, Auditing methodologies. **Location:** Av.
