**Parking and Operations Manager – Mercado Corona** **General Information** * **Position:** General Manager of Parking and Operations * **Department:** Administration / Operations * **Reports to:** General Management / Board of Directors / Partners * **Team supervised:** Operational, administrative, cashier, maintenance, security, and parking staff * **Location:** Mercado Corona **Position Objective** Ensure the proper administrative, financial, and operational functioning of the parking facility by supervising daily operations, revenue control, customer service, personnel management, and facility maintenance—thereby guaranteeing operational efficiency, compliance with internal policies, and achievement of financial and service objectives. **Required Profile** **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. **Experience** * Minimum 3 years in supervisory or operational management roles. * Demonstrable experience in personnel management. * Preferred experience in parking operations, logistics, or service administration. **Knowledge** * Operational and financial administration. * Personnel management and leadership. * Customer service. * Revenue control and cash handling. * Use of administrative systems and Microsoft Office suite. * Preparation of operational and financial reports. **Skills and Competencies** * Leadership. * Organization and planning. * Effective communication. * Problem solving. * Decision making. * Working under pressure. * Sense of responsibility. * Negotiation ability. * Customer service orientation. **Working Conditions** * Flexible working hours. * On-site work. * Availability to respond to operational emergencies outside regular hours when necessary. **Key Responsibilities and Functions** **Operational Administration** * Supervise the daily operation of the parking facility. * Coordinate overall operations and ensure uninterrupted service delivery. * Verify appropriate maintenance of facilities, equipment, and common areas. * Supervise compliance with internal regulations and operational guidelines. * Implement operational improvements to optimize time and resources. **Financial Administration** * Control and manage parking-generated revenues. * Supervise cash reconciliations, audits, and internal controls. * Prepare financial and operational reports. * Analyze operational costs and propose optimization strategies. * Supervise proper handling of financial resources and budgets. **Parking Management** * Supervise the operation of the parking system. * Verify proper functioning of automated equipment and control software. * Coordinate technical and operational incidents. * Supervise income, access control, and internal controls. * Ensure efficient and secure service for users and customers. **Personnel Management** * Lead and supervise operational and administrative teams. * Coordinate staff across different shifts and departments. * Assign tasks and evaluate performance. * Train staff on operational procedures and customer service. * Resolve labor and operational conflicts. * Promote an organized, efficient, and service-oriented workplace environment. **Operational Relations and Customer Service** * Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and management. * Address and resolve user incidents. * Coordinate external services related to maintenance and operations. * Represent operations before suppliers or authorities when required. **Compliance and Safety** * Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene standards. * Verify adherence to internal policies and administrative obligations. * Coordinate operational reviews and internal audits. * Ensure safe conditions for users and staff.
