The candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising all ground-based load-handling maneuvers, ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards and operational precision. Responsibilities \- Selection, inspection, and preparation of lifting equipment (slings, shackles, chains, rigging hardware). \- Verification of load weight, center of gravity, and load capacity according to manufacturer’s load charts. \- Directing crane operators using standardized hand signals and/or radio communication. \- Demarcation and securing of the work area. \- Controlling access and egress of unauthorized personnel during lifting operations. \- Monitoring environmental conditions (wind, terrain, visibility). \- Safe positioning, rigging, and unrigging of loads. \- Participation in pre-operational crane inspections. \- Immediate reporting of hazards, anomalies, or unsafe conditions. \- Strict adherence to lifting safety protocols.
