Job Summary: We are seeking a Payroll Audit Assistant focused on IMSS for an accounting firm, with experience in financial and tax audits, payroll review, and tax compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in financial, tax, INFONAVIT, and Social Security audits. 2. Focus on IMSS, including payroll review and internal control assessment. 3. Participation in bank reconciliations and preparation of audit working papers. An accounting firm is currently seeking a Payroll Audit Assistant focused on IMSS Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; candidates must be in their final semesters or have completed the degree — no other degrees accepted - Prior experience in an accounting firm is desirable - Minimum experience: 1–2 years in a similar position - Proactive - Goal-oriented - Ability to work under pressure Required Knowledge: * General Accounting * Basic payroll knowledge required * Application of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and International Accounting Standards (NIAS) * Understanding of basic financial statements * Familiarity with the Income Tax Law (I.S.R.), Value Added Tax Law (I.V.A), IMSS regulations, etc. * Knowledge of and ability to navigate the SAT portal * ERP system knowledge * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Responsibilities and Duties: * Bank reconciliations * Payroll review * Internal control review * Preparation of external audit working papers * Experience conducting financial, tax, INFONAVIT, and Social Security audits * Review of federal and local taxes * Support during inventory counts * Review of expenses, sales, fixed assets, and bank accounts Offer: - Base salary of $12,000 to $14,000 MXN per month, net - Biweekly payment - Statutory benefits - Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Work location: Narvarte Oriente, Benito Juárez, CDMX - Requirements - Minimum education: Higher education – Bachelor's degree 1 year of experience Age: between 23 and 30 years Knowledge: Internal audit, IMSS, Microsoft Office, Payroll Keywords: assistant, helper, aide, auxiliary, auditor, audit, salary, wage, pay, payment, payroll, payslip, retribution, sueldo, paga, nominista, ayudante, asistente, auxiliar, aux
