Job Summary: We are seeking a Web Developer with experience in PHP 5, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, and MySQL for maintenance and enhancement of applications in Puebla. Key Responsibilities: 1. Web application development and maintenance with PHP and frameworks 2. Interface integration and adjustment with JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap 3. MySQL database design, querying, and optimization Join our team in the city of Puebla MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop web applications and modules using PHP 5. • Maintain and provide support for existing systems developed in CodeIgniter 2 or 3. • Perform interface integrations and adjustments using JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap. • Design, query, and optimize MySQL databases. • Identify, correct, and document errors in web applications. • Implement functional, visual, and performance improvements in systems. • Manage local development environments using XAMPP. • Participate in testing, validation, and production deployment of changes. • Prepare basic technical documentation for developments, changes, and incidents. Required Knowledge: • PHP 5 • JavaScript • jQuery • Bootstrap • CodeIgniter 2 or 3 • MySQL • XAMPP REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Experience in web application development and maintenance. • Experience working with PHP frameworks, preferably CodeIgniter 2 or 3. • Proficiency in MySQL database querying, maintenance, and structure. • Experience maintaining legacy systems or existing developments. DESIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: • Knowledge of MVC architecture. • Proficiency in HTML and CSS. • Version control usage, preferably Git. • Basic knowledge of web application security. • Ability to analyze and resolve production incidents. MUST-HAVE: Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field.
