




Position Objective Implementation, use, programming, and maintenance of PLCs, PanelView, and Robots in the plant. Development of assigned automation and control projects. Coordinate and direct technology integration activities for equipment and subsystems. Manage and control the operation and maintenance of existing facilities in the plant. Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic failures (PLCs, Robots, Cobots, servodrives, servomotors, HMIs, synchronization) on production lines. Position Profile Education: Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field. Professional Experience: In automation, control and instrumentation, project engineering, maintenance engineering. Specific Knowledge: Advanced programming of next-generation PLCs from Allen Bradley and Siemens, robot programming, motion control, SCADA system programming, HMI programming, extensive knowledge of instrumentation devices, statistical analysis, industrial networks, advanced PC skills, vision systems, interpretation of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams, AutoCAD, SolidWorks. Desirable: English language proficiency. Functions and Responsibilities* Implement SCADA system installation. * Validate and release integrations between plant equipment. * Validate and release new process equipment and instrumentation. * Perform preventive maintenance on PLCs, PanelView, and Robots. * Maintain and program SCADA software. * Program PLCs and panels according to requirements. * Program Robots according to requirements. * Audit the operation and maintenance of control and automation equipment across departments. * Evaluate suppliers of control, automation, and facility systems. * Control documentation for the ISO 9000 quality system. * Generate necessary metrics for proper preventive maintenance of automation and control equipment. * Issue purchase requisitions for plant system materials or services. * Design and coordinate new equipment integrations and process improvements. * Design and coordinate construction of new equipment and system upgrades. * Provide service and maintenance for the VSS program and data backup system. * Keep backups and programs of plant automation systems up to date. * Know and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System according to IATF 16949. * Understand the ISO 14001 system based on job responsibilities, as well as the appropriate actions to take in case of an environmental emergency, and have the authority to stop any activity impacting the organization's environment. * Respect and ensure compliance with all applicable Occupational Health and Safety Management System procedures in their work area. * Report and, if necessary, immediately halt any activities that could endanger people, the facility, and/or employee health. * Participate, when required, in investigations of occupational health and safety incidents.
