Description
**General Summary**
The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for performing installation and electromechanical maintenance activities on equipment, ensuring optimal functionality, safety, and operational efficiency. Ensures compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance plans, as well as implementation of improvements to minimize downtime and optimize resources.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· Inspects equipment and tools prior to installation to ensure proper operation of electrical systems, motors, control panels, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
· Inspects installation areas and performs diagnostics to determine required equipment and materials for installation.
· Plans, leads, and executes equipment and tool installations, adhering to both customer and Rivus safety protocols.
· Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, and documents all such activities.
· Analyzes recurring failures and proposes improvements to enhance equipment and tool reliability.
· Implements predictive maintenance plans using condition monitoring techniques.
· Evaluates new technologies and materials that optimize electromechanical system efficiency.
· Generates technical reports and equipment/tool performance reports.
**Education and Experience:**
***Required:***
· Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles involving electromechanical maintenance.
· Minimum 3 years of experience serving internal and external customers.
· Knowledge of electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repair.
· Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
· Experience maintaining motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
· Familiarity with frequency inverters, PLCs, and automation systems.
· Analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Results-oriented, organized, leadership capabilities, and ability to work effectively in teams.
· Willingness to travel to customer sites within and outside Querétaro.
***Desirable:***
· Certifications in industrial maintenance, PLCs, maintenance management, or related areas.
