RESPONSIBILITIES: * The Quality Manager reports to the Food Safety Management System Coordinator. * Promote and ensure training for personnel under supervision, as well as operational staff. * Verify that personnel under supervision and operational staff acquire and possess knowledge of: GMPs, HACCP, and ISO 22000\. * Ensure establishment, implementation, maintenance, and updating—among personnel under supervision and operational staff—of knowledge regarding applicable organizational standards: NOM, NOM MX, ISO. * Participate in supervision of operational processes and any changes potentially affecting already-produced products: changes in raw materials/ingredients, packaging materials, processes and equipment, facilities, machinery, packaging and distribution systems, legal requirements, customer complaints, or any condition that may affect product quality and safety. * Support application of legal regulations concerning the company's corn-based products. * Verify and supervise incoming raw materials and supplies used in product manufacturing; this includes reviewing supplier qualification. * Coordinate storage, preservation, and various stages of the supply chain within the operational area, accounting for processes such as equipment maintenance. * Responsible for timely and accurate entry into the integrated Don Pon system (SIDP) of data necessary for proper execution of Quality Control processes and quality standards, including: % yield loss, % rework, and standardization targets for formulation and measurements (weight, moisture, temperature, and quantities). * Identify and detect issues related to processes, products in general, and customers, and accordingly implement preventive and corrective actions to eliminate recurrence. * Supervise physical-chemical and microbiological analyses (if applicable) to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Monitor suppliers and manage technical specifications—both for in-house products and for raw materials, supplies, and other inputs involved in the company’s own production or operational processes. * Design flowcharts for each food manufacturing process to optimize and improve productivity where feasible. * Develop environmental management plans or programs and waste reduction initiatives to establish the company’s foundation in combating climate change. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Demonstrable experience as a Quality Control Manager or in an equivalent role for 5 years or more, with proven knowledge of quality control methodologies and established standards. * Ability to convey key concepts and definitions, including Food Safety Policy, * Food safety, quality control, corrective actions, and preventive actions, * Traceability or Product Recall, and those applicable to our market as a company. * Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods. * Strong working knowledge of MS Office and database systems. * Communication skills. * Results-oriented mindset. * Organizational and leadership skills. * Business commitment.
