Job stability and a positive work environment with growth opportunities **Job Description:** An established company in Mexico is seeking a **General Accountant** responsible for managing the company’s accounting and tax control, ensuring compliance with legal, tax, and financial obligations, as well as accurate presentation of accounting information for decision-making. **Responsibilities:** * Recording and controlling the company’s general accounting * Preparation and analysis of financial statements * Calculation and filing of federal and state taxes (Income Tax, VAT, DIOT, etc.) * Submission of monthly and annual tax returns * Bank reconciliations * Control of accounts payable and accounts receivable * Oversight of electronic invoicing (CFDI) * Responding to SAT requirements and supporting audits * Coordination with administrative departments and management **Requirements:** * Education: **Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting** (degree and professional license preferred) * Minimum **3 years** of experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role * Up-to-date knowledge of **Mexican tax legislation** * Proficiency in **Microsoft Office suite** (Intermediate/advanced Excel) * Experience with accounting software (e.g., CONTPAQi, others) * Analytical ability and commitment to information confidentiality **Skills and Competencies:** * Organization and attention to detail * Financial and accounting analysis * Responsibility and professional ethics * Planning and adherence to deadlines * Effective communication * Ability to work under pressure **We Offer:** * **Competitive salary commensurate with experience** * **Statutory benefits** (IMSS, vacation, vacation bonus, year-end bonus) * Job stability * Positive work environment * Growth opportunities Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for an indefinite-term contract * On-site cafeteria service * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
