




Position Summary: Coordination, planning, and execution of manufacturing-sector events, managing suppliers, budgets, and exhibitor support. Key Highlights: 1. Founded in 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, with the launch of Modern Machine Shop magazine, it remains today the world’s foremost publication for the metalworking and machine tool sector in North America. We currently publish two magazines in the Mexican market: ***Modern Machine Shop México*** and ***Plastics Technology México***, and organize several proprietary events: ***Meximold and Plastics Recycling LATAM.*** **REQUIREMENTS:** · Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field (degree required) · Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles · Willingness to travel within the Mexican Republic · Full availability during event weeks · Advanced English proficiency **COMPETENCIES:** · Organized with strong attention to detail · Ability to work under pressure and multitask · Strong verbal and written communication skills · High sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines · Adaptability and problem-solving ability **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** · **Planning, coordination, and execution of events**, promotional press conferences, and all stages leading to full event implementation (e.g., Meximold, Plastics Recycling Latam, etc.). · **Supplier coordination and quotation follow-up** to secure optimal business opportunities (restaurants, hotels, merchandise, gifts, uniforms, banners, printed materials, etc.). * **Budget control** per event and profitability analysis. * **On-site support and inspection during setup, event operation, and teardown** to ensure compliance with specifications and quotations. · **Operational coordination and follow-up with exhibitors, speakers, suppliers, and partners**, via email and phone (ES/EN). · **Customer service, distribution of manuals and service forms to exhibitors**, and tracking of key deadlines and deliverables with exhibitors. · Support in planning and executing **parallel activities and special events (online webinars, press conferences)**. · Management and updating of information on **event digital platforms** (Map Your Show, AdOrbit (CRM), ACOB\-Pangea), as well as report generation. · Support for event directors and any other assistance as needed.
