




Job Summary: Designs and develops retail furniture products, optimizing materials and coordinating with departments for innovation and improvements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and development of new retail furniture products. 2. Optimization of materials, processes, and costs. 3. Identification of innovation opportunities. **Requirements** · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field. · Experience: Product design and development experience in manufacturing or furniture industry. **Main Activities and Responsibilities:** · Design and develop new retail furniture products, from conceptualization through to production. · Optimize materials, processes, and costs to improve profitability and efficiency. · Coordinate with design, production, and quality departments to validate prototypes and improvements. · Identify innovation opportunities in materials and production techniques. · Implement improvements to existing products without compromising quality. · Maintain technical documentation, drawings, and bills of materials (BOM). · Collaborate with suppliers on material and component selection. · Support resolution of technical issues during production. **Technical Knowledge** · Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.). · Material selection and analysis (wood, metal, plastic, textiles). · Product costing and profitability analysis. **Working Conditions:** Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM\.
