Opportunities for growth and leadership. **Technician Apprenticeship Opportunity Summary:** A technician apprentice will improve mechanical skills and acquire new ones to competently perform cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, and disassembly of parts and accessories. This position will work under the direct supervision of a qualified service technician to ensure all scheduled work is performed safely and satisfactorily for the customer. **Job Responsibilities:** * Perform high-quality minor repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty diesel engines or trucks, as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures. * Assist in accurately completing all required documentation (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emissions inspections) promptly. * Assist in diagnosing vehicle failures through part disassembly, repair, and reassembly. * Commitment to and compliance with all company and industry safety standards. * Inspect guards, loose bolts, and safety devices specified on trucks. * Read work orders, observe and listen to operating vehicles to identify failures and plan work procedures. **Work Experience and Qualifications:** * High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). * Currently enrolled in a diesel technology program. * Computer and software knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite. **Employee Benefits and Rewards:** * Statutory holidays as defined by the Federal Labor Law * Life insurance * Company-paid training * Opportunities for growth and leadership **About the Company:** W.W.
