The Production Operator is responsible for executing key activities in the **Mixing** and **Extrusion** areas, ensuring compliance with the plant’s established safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role is critical to ensuring proper material preparation, efficient equipment operation, and continuity of the production process. **Mixing Area** * Handle materials using forklifts and hydraulic pallet jacks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation within the area. * Accurately weigh raw materials according to production orders. * Operate specialized mixing equipment such as Mixacos, following established process parameters. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the area, and perform basic equipment maintenance and preparation before and after each run. * Verify that mixtures meet defined standards before transferring them to Extrusion. **Extrusion Area** * Operate single- and twin-screw extruders, adjusting parameters such as temperature, speed, pressure, and feed rate per supervisor instructions. * Operate peripheral equipment including pelletizers, classifiers, dryers, and mills, ensuring stable product flow. * Perform packaging, labeling, and counting activities, maintaining traceability and order for each batch. * Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department to validate product specifications and implement corrective actions when necessary. * Conduct periodic visual inspections to ensure process continuity and detect deviations.
