What will be my responsibilities? * Prepare welding equipment (machines, electrodes, gases, protective materials). * Read and interpret blueprints or technical specifications to perform metal joints. * Perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), among others. * Prepare surfaces prior to welding (cleaning, beveling, alignment). * Join metal parts using heat or pressure, applying the appropriate method. * Control weld quality (visual inspection or non-destructive testing). * Perform basic maintenance of welding equipment. * Comply with industrial safety and occupational health standards. * Record operations or report activities in logbooks or internal systems. * Collaborate in assembling metal structures or assemblies. The ideal candidate for this position: * Proficiency in welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW). * Knowledge of types of metals and alloys. * Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols. * Use of measuring tools (caliper, square, tape measure).
