Position Profile The Production Supervisor is responsible for organizing and ensuring the safe work of operational personnel, controlling production processes to use resources efficiently and effectively. Manages the production shift to guarantee fulfillment of customer-required volumes and service levels, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Responsibilities * Ensure personnel safety by maintaining a healthy, clean, and organized work environment, preventing accidents and injuries. * Ensure 100% adherence to production schedules and customer-established service levels. * Efficiently manage human, material, and technical resources to achieve productivity and operational efficiency goals. * Ensure manufacturing of products meeting high quality standards, on-time delivery, and customer requirements. * Promote and ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and values, fostering a positive work environment. * Monitor and report attendance and overtime for operational personnel under supervision. * Prepare operations for the annual inventory, ensuring required production levels. * Actively participate in the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment Committee. * Implement continuous improvement actions to meet operational and customer satisfaction indicators. * Comply with and promote guidelines of the Environmental, Safety, and Health Management System. * Manage scrap control plans to ensure optimal production and quality levels. * Lead the team in improvement actions to optimize line and manufactured product efficiency. * Administer the production management system to achieve high productivity levels. Requirements **Education** * Engineering or Bachelor’s degree (Industrial or related field) **Experience** * Minimum 3 years as Production Supervisor in assembly or manufacturing processes * Experience leading teams of at least 20 people **Technical Knowledge** * Basic English (B1 level) * Fundamental knowledge of Industrial Engineering * Line balancing and process efficiency * TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) * Office software – intermediate level * Knowledge of plastic injection molding and/or assembly * Familiarity with quality and lean manufacturing standards **Competencies** * Leadership and decision-making * Problem-solving (Troubleshooting) * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement * Teamwork BIC is an equal opportunity employer.
