Job Summary: Supervise and manage operations of a new independent cinema at Plaza Ánimas, ensuring an excellent customer experience and achievement of business goals. Key Highlights: 1. Development of leadership and public relations skills The person in this position will be responsible for managing and supervising the general operations of a **new independent cinema** opening at **Plaza Ánimas**, Xalapa, ensuring an excellent customer experience, achievement of business goals, proper staff management, and efficient operation of all areas of the cinema complex. Position: **Manager** **Gross Monthly Salary (pre-tax): $20,000 (MXN)** **Contract: 3 months with possibility of extension** Schedule: **Work schedule and days are variable depending on events and other requirements**. However, weekly working hours generally will not exceed 48 hours, in compliance with applicable legislation. **Availability to work weekends and holidays.** Location: Xalapa, Veracruz (On-site) **Requirements** 1\. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Visual Arts, Film (and related fields), Art History, Photography, Communication, Business Administration, or Finance. However, other degrees will be considered if the candidate demonstrates genuine interest in the arts and visual culture, and can demonstrate formal or informal preparation for this role. Likewise, candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they possess extensive experience in the cinema industry. 2\. Experience: 2 years of experience in the cinema industry and at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position. 3\. Genuine interest in film and the arts. 4\. Visual intelligence. 5\. Knowledge of personnel management; operations and sales administration; inventory and cash control; customer service and support; basic computer tools and administrative reporting. 6\. Demonstrated ability to lead a team. 7\. Proactive and self-sufficient attitude. 8\. Effective communication: ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, with good spelling, and capacity to express ideas clearly, concisely, and respectfully. 9\. Strong sense of responsibility; commitment to punctuality, ethics, and completion of assigned tasks. 10\. Adaptability: to changing environments, diverse schedules, crisis management, discretion, and learning new tasks. 11\. Basic–intermediate English proficiency. 12\. Signing of a confidentiality agreement. **Responsibilities** 1\. Supervise daily cinema operations and ensure proper functioning. 2\. Coordinate and direct box office, concession stand, cleaning, and theater staff. 3\. Ensure excellent customer service and support. 4\. Resolve complaints, conflicts, and operational incidents. 5\. Manage inventories of food, beverages, and supplies. 6\. Supervise cash reconciliation, sales, and financial reporting. 7\. Verify correct film projection and equipment functionality. 8\. Prepare staff schedules and administer attendance. 9\. Train, motivate, and evaluate employee performance. 10\. Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards. 11\. Implement strategies to increase sales and attendance. 12\. Coordinate promotions, premieres, and special events. 13\. Maintain clean, safe, and optimal facility conditions. 14\. Monitor performance indicators and goal achievement. 15\. Report operational and administrative results to regional or corporate management. **Benefits** 1\.
