




Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, leading the team to foster an optimal work environment and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and supervise store operations as a role model for the team. 2. Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence. 3. Manage inventory and guarantee proper product placement. Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and ensuring full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s established dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, courtesy, and professionalism, and adhere to AutoZone’s guidelines and core values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of cost savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as reviewing daily cash counts for the main register, performing cash sweeps, and conducting register closings for direct reports in accordance with AutoZone’s prescribed procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store testing stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for work schedule AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
