Job Description: At Geotest (Geotecnia y Supervisión Técnica, S.A. de C.V.), a leading company in the sector, we are looking for a proactive and responsible Mechanical Assistant to join our maintenance team in Xalapa / El Lencero. If you have basic mechanical knowledge, are oriented toward learning, and seek job stability with a solid company, we want you on our team! Your main responsibilities will include: - Technical support: Assist the lead mechanic in preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy machinery and vehicle fleets. - Basic maintenance: Support oil changes, filter replacements, fluid level checks, and lubrication of units. - Workshop management: Maintain order and cleanliness of tools, spare parts, and the work area. - Field support: Assist with on-site rapid diagnostics and minor repairs as required. Candidate Requirements: - Education: Technical degree in Automotive or Diesel Mechanics (in progress or recently graduated). - Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year in similar positions or professional internships (basic knowledge of heavy machinery or vehicles preferred). - Skills: Service-oriented attitude, punctuality, honesty, and strong desire for technical advancement. - Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Saturday.
