KEM Energía Constructora offers construction services in a variety of markets including energy, oil, gas and chemicals, terminals, marine works and mining. **Job Responsibilities:** * Be responsible for the installation, alignment and leveling of machinery, equipment or parts thereof through personnel assigned under their supervision (Skilled Workers, Helpers and temporary staff). * Collect documentation generated by their personnel. * Daily validation of the Job Safety Analysis (JSA). * Take corrective actions as necessary. * Perform physical work under severe environmental conditions of cold or heat. * Identify potential safety risks and take all necessary corrective measures to eliminate or minimize hazards. Produce quality work safely and prepare reports and daily planning. * Monitor project schedule, report progress and prevent delays and cost overruns. * Actively participate in training programs and comply with guidelines and policies regarding safety, environment, occupational health and quality according to company standards, manuals and procedures. **Requirements** * Knowledge: Center of gravity and load balancing. Technical knowledge in layout marking, leveling, elevations (surveying and floor mechanics). Assembly of equipment, light and heavy structures. Preparation of reports and daily planning, ability to read a project schedule, report progress and prevent delays and cost overruns. Knowledge of cranes, types and capacities, proper signaling, knowledge of rigging and lifting equipment. Assessment of machinery condition and working conditions. * Machinery: Portapower. Cutting equipment (grinders, cutters) and oxy-fuel cutting (with LP gas and/or acetylene). Hydraulic and screw jacks. Hoists, chain blocks, wedges, shims. Processes: Layout marking, leveling and elevation. Load handling. Torque tightening. Hytorc tightening. Quality and Safety inspections. Handling of temporary support installations for construction (temporary supports). * Tools: Torque wrench. Adjustable wrenches, socket wrenches, Allen keys, sockets and ratchets, pliers, hammers, spirit level, etc. Steel cables, nylon slings, shackles, hooks, spreader beams. General mechanical tools.
