The focus of this role is to be part of a team of pre\-silicon verification engineers to verify new and existing features for Intel's next generation CPU IP resulting in bug free final design. You will be responsible for exhaustively validating the RTL implementation of new architecture and microarchitecture capabilities using a combination of standalone and top\-level test environments as well as formal verification. **Role responsibilities include although not limited to:** * Developing pre\-Si validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design * Development of components for a simulation\-based environment: bus functional models, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches * Performing and debugging digital simulations, and driving to closure of bugs * Development of functional coverage and achieving coverage goals * Working closely with design engineers, micro\-architects, and other team members to ensure high quality of test plans, functional coverage, and tests * Deliver high\-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross\-site team environment **Qualifications:** ------------------- Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering with CPU architecture background and preferably some relevant experience. * 10 months of experience in: + Experience developing SystemVerilog in UVM\-based test\-benches for reusable and scalable verification environments. + Experience in scripting language i.e. Python or Perl) + Experience implementing validation strategies based on architectural and design feature changes. * Advance English level. * Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship). **Preferred Qualifications:** * Post Graduate degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or in a STEM related field of study with strong CPU architecture background and preferably 1\-2 years of industry experience. * Experience in C\+\+. * Solid understanding of digital logic design, including instruction set execution, ALUs, control units, registers, memory, and system buses. * Experience with Synopsys simulators. * Experience with agile development methodologies.
