**Picking Manager – Agricultural Industry (Citrus)** **Area:** Operations / Agribusiness **Position Type:** Full-time **Level:** Managerial **Job Description:** At **BAST**, a leading company in agricultural services operation and commercialization, we are seeking a **Picking Manager** responsible for directing fruit picking operations in citrus under a model of **high profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency**. The primary objective is to ensure proper service execution based on quality standards, resource optimization, and effective leadership over multiple work crews. **Main Responsibilities:** * Manage the **sales and profitability of the picking service**. * **Recruit and coordinate pickers and crew leaders**, ensuring operational coverage. * Establish **efficient work systems** that guarantee high-quality and productive harvesting. * Prepare and present **weekly performance reports** (volume, costs, performance). * Administer **operational budgets (annual, monthly, and weekly)**, controlling costs according to approved limits. * Supervise the **maintenance of trucks and machinery** assigned to the department. * Train, motivate, and evaluate staff to promote their **development and retention**. * Implement and improve **mechanized and technological tools** used in operations. **Requirements:** * **Bachelor’s degree** in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **Minimum of 3 years’ experience** in agricultural operational management or logistics (preferably in citrus or similar crops). * Experience **leading large, multicultural teams**. * **Knowledge of strategic planning, budget control, and productivity tools.** * Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in **Excel, Word, and Outlook**. * Knowledge of **quality systems and Project** software is desirable. * 80% of time spent working in the field. **Required Competencies:** * Results orientation and decision-making ability. * High responsibility and practical mindset. * Leadership, effective communication, and negotiation skills. * Business vision and innovation. * Adaptability to change and teamwork. * Service attitude and interpersonal sensitivity. **We Offer:** * Company work truck * Growth opportunities within an expanding company. * Dynamic, results-oriented work environment.
