We are seeking an experienced AS400 / iSeries Developer to support and enhance enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. This role involves application development, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring system stability, performance, and alignment with business objectives. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through deployment. * Analyze business and user requirements to define application objectives and technical solutions. * Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain AS400\-based applications. * Produce and maintain technical designs and application documentation. * Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in both development and production environments. * Prepare, package, and deploy software releases and enhancements. * Participate in production support activities, including incident investigation and resolution. * Manage and support AS400 environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security. * Ensure application designs align with business goals and architectural standards. * Support continuous improvement by evaluating alternative solutions, tools, and technologies. ### **Required Qualifications (Must Have)** * Proven experience as an AS400 / iSeries Developer. * Hands\-on experience with **COBOL/400, CLP, DB2, and SQL/400**. * Experience preparing and producing software releases. * Strong experience in production support and incident resolution. * Ability to define application objectives, functionality, and technical designs. * Experience ensuring application designs align with business requirements. ### **Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)** * Familiarity with **ARCAD** and **RTC**, or willingness to learn. * Exposure to **DevOps tools** such as **Jenkins**. * Experience working in **Agile/Scrum** environments using **Jira**. * Experience in the **Credit Risk** domain. * Hands\-on experience with **Credit Risk management applications**. * Knowledge or experience with **MongoDB**.
