Job Summary: A major manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to ensure quality standards in production and manage continuous improvement processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure quality at all stages of wooden pallet production. 2. Implement and improve quality management processes in the plant. 3. Conduct audits and coordinate continuous productivity improvement. Education: Completed technical degree or engineering program Knowledge: Good manufacturing practices, 5S, audits, product inspection (raw materials and finished goods), knowledge of quality management systems. Availability. No transportation issues. Sense of urgency Responsibilities. -Verify that tools and machinery are in proper working condition for safe inspection startup. -Verify that personnel possess the minimum required knowledge for correct pallet inspection aligned with customer specifications. -Coordinate the creation, updating, and implementation of documented processes with plant work teams. -Perform quality line verification of pallets. -Verify that all departments adhere to their respective quality criteria. -Verify incoming raw materials. -Conduct audits and file claims against suppliers for defective raw materials. -Generate rejections for shipping boxes failing to meet customer-specified requirements. -Execute Statistical Process Control (SPC) on time and as required. -Manage documents, records, and reports to management. -Attend external or internal audits. -Develop and improve productivity. -Monitor equipment calibration schedules. -Monitor mandatory use of assigned PPE and adherence to good manufacturing practices by operational staff (e.g., no food at workstations, no sugary beverages), and ensure supervisor compliance with PPE usage.
