Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining high operational and satisfaction standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and ensuring full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement and training. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and monitor tasks for area supervisors—including planogram assembly, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts from the main register, perform cash sweeps, and process cash register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work varying shifts AutoZone México is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
