Description

The Finance Manager acts as a liaison between the business and key departments within the organization, including Shared Services, Tax Center of Excellence, Treasury Center of Excellence, HR, Commercial, Operations, and General Management teams. This role provides financial support to 7 CSV plants in Mexico (Saltillo, Apodaca, San Luis Potosí, Reynosa, Querétaro, León, Hermosillo) and 1 plant in the U.S. (San Antonio, Texas). The Finance Manager ensures timely and accurate financial information to help reduce costs, maximize profits, and improve overall financial health, while driving process improvements across the Americas finance functions. Key Responsibilities * Lead and oversee month\-end close activities for Mexico. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and PPG policies and procedures. * Analyze performance against budget and ensure alignment with company goals. * Perform financial statement analysis, create and interpret reports, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. * Identify cost\-saving opportunities, develop cost\-reduction strategies, and implement efficient processes. * Facilitate communication between Treasury, Tax, and Shared Services to align processes and improve deliverables across the Americas. * Develop, mentor, and empower direct staff to achieve team objectives. Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s Degree preferred. * Manufacturing sector experience. * Experience in multinational companies. * At least 5 progressive finance/accounting roles. * Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel. * Fluent English PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
