Additionally, ensure compliance with established procedures for guest check-in and check-out, occupancy control, complaint handling, and lost-and-found items, while maintaining order at the front desk and contributing to continuous improvement in service standards. **JOB FUNCTIONS:** Know the room inventory and features, as well as the services and activities offered by the hotel and local points of interest. Maintain control over occupied and available rooms. Know and apply the lost & found procedure for recovered items. Handle guest complaints and concerns with friendliness and discretion, escalating them to the appropriate department. Keep the front desk area organized, including internal and external information directed toward guests.
