Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Job Description** ------------------- As a Laundry Assistant I, you will be responsible for operating and attending to laundry or dry-cleaning machines to clean a variety of industrial or household items. Your duties will include laundering fabric garments, suede, leather, furs, blankets, curtains, bed linens, rugs, and carpets, as well as stain removal and dyeing of these items. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** ------------------------------------- * Operate laundry and dry-cleaning machines to clean various industrial and household items. * Inspect items for stains, colorfastness, and appropriate cleaning requirements. * Load and unload items into laundry or dry-cleaning machines, ensuring proper care for delicate fabrics and materials. * Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper cleaning and drying. * Inspect cleaned items to verify all stains and dirt have been removed; repeat the process if required. * Sort and fold or hang cleaned items for storage, distribution, or further processing. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation standards. * Perform routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning lint traps and checking for wear. * Complete any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned related to the work area. **Work Experience** ------------------ * Entry-level position with limited prior training or relevant work experience. * Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks. * Work is prescribed and completed with minimal autonomy. * Works under close supervision or clearly defined procedures. * Has 0–1 year of work experience. **Competencies** ---------------- Interpersonal Skills Functional Job Knowledge Leadership Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration Accountability Business Acumen Advocating for Guest Needs Self-Development Impact **Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. * Basic English. **Certifications** ----------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
