Identify stained or damaged items and assess their condition to determine whether to treat stains, rewash, or discard. Inspect cleanliness of items removed from washers, dryers, or dry-cleaning machines, and place them in clean linen carts. Set dryer time and temperature according to fabric types in the load. Remove lint and debris from dryer and dry-cleaning machine filters and dispose of them after each load. Fold clean items to designated sizes—manually or using a folding machine. Maintain accurate records of laundered and pressed items. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company-owned information; protect company property. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Reach above head level and below knee level—including bending, twisting at the waist, pulling, and stooping. Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Traverse sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairways. Climb up and down service stairways and/or ramps. Perform other reasonable job-related duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: No high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate required.
