




Position Summary: We are seeking a professional with experience in coastal marine monitoring and environmental management for field and office work, performing data analysis and visual reporting. Data analysis and preparation of clear reports **Academic Qualifications** * Secondary education * Scientific or occupational diving certification (e.g., Rescue/Divemaster or equivalent) and first aid training preferred. **Experience** * **1 to 2 years** in coastal marine monitoring, habitat restoration, or environmental management in coastal zones. **Technical Knowledge** * Identification of **seagrass** species * Sampling methods * Basic operation of **GPS/GIS** (QGIS/ArcGIS), data sheet recording, and underwater photography. * **Water quality**: turbidity, temperature, salinity, nutrients * **Aquatic safety** and safe diving / freediving protocols. * Familiarity with applicable **environmental regulations** (authorizations required for interventions in the federal maritime-terrestrial zone and marine environments) **Competencies and Skills** * Keen observation and attention to detail. * Adherence to protocols and data traceability. * Physical fieldwork, swimming/diving, and tolerance to marine conditions. * Data analysis and preparation of clear, visual reports. * Teamwork with lifeguards, navy personnel, aquatic activity staff, and maintenance teams. **Position Conditions** * Field work (swimming, snorkeling, or diving) and office work (data analysis/reports). * Flexible hours subject to **tides, weather, and diving windows**; on-call duties during peak season. * Mandatory use of **PPE** (mask, fins, cut-resistant gloves, UV rashguard/lycra, vest, signal buoy, life vest onboard vessels). * Coordination with Port Captaincy and **nautical safety** protocols.
