The Learning and Reading Support Teacher is responsible for coordinating and implementing educational supports that foster students’ learning and reading skills development. During the first year, the position’s primary focus is documenting individualized learning plans and accommodations, as well as supporting and strengthening teachers’ capacities to address students’ diverse learning needs. The teacher collaborates with classroom teachers, coordinators, and families to identify student needs, design intervention strategies, and monitor academic progress, promoting inclusive practices and students’ holistic well-being through evidence-based pedagogical strategies.
