The Security Agent will carry out all security and protection tasks and/or programs established in the areas and workstations to which they are assigned. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Will periodically inspect and conduct preventive patrols to prevent unauthorized individuals from entering the property. * Will monitor and report any fires, vandalism, theft, or other incidents that may endanger property or lives in the assigned area. * Will verify the entry and identity of individuals requesting access to the property. * If necessary, will locate and activate alarm systems in case of an emergency. * Maintaining surveillance over the entry and exit of visitors to the premises. * Will regulate and direct vehicular traffic when necessary. This task may include installing and removing safety barriers and controlling traffic flow and direction. * Will attend to public or customer complaints and report them to their supervisor for appropriate action. * Will prepare and record daily incident reports. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods while patrolling or stationed at a specific location, as well as regularly required to speak and listen to others.
