Champion software lifecycle best practices and high-quality standards **Technical Program Manager – Storage** ======================================= **Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart!****The Opportunity** ------------------- * **Technical Program Management:** Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Support leadership to drive teams in planning, executing, and delivering features, releases, and services to market. * **Strategic Operations:** Define and deliver KPIs for the organization, while driving strategic operational programs. * **Expertise:** A strong background in software development/QA, technical program management, product, analytics, and reporting is required. * **Tooling:** Experience with JIRA and Confluence for tracking, communication, and documentation. * **Adaptability:** Ability to adjust quickly to changing situations with a strong focus on delivering results. * **Customer Focus:** Address customer escalations and partner with Engineering to drive resolution. **About the Team** ------------------ The Technical Program Manager will join the Technical Program Management (TPM) organization at Nutanix, focusing specifically on **Nutanix Storage**. This is a highly collaborative team composed of engineers, product managers, architects, and customer success experts dedicated to building world‑class, software‑defined storage that delivers scalable IO performance and throughput. The team works at the intersection of distributed systems, storage innovation, security, and cloud technologies. They thrive on solving complex technical challenges, driving customer‑centric innovation, and delivering enterprise‑grade solutions used globally. Collaboration is core: the team partners closely with Manageability, Unified Storage, Data Services, Security, Performance, Support, and GTM functions to ensure seamless integration and an outstanding customer experience. You will report directly to a Hiring Manager who values transparency, inclusivity, ownership, and strong collaboration. This is a **hybrid role**, requiring onsite presence **three days per week**. There is **no required travel**, allowing you to stay focused on local project execution and cross‑functional collaboration.**Your Role** ------------- * Partner with Development, Test, Documentation, Support, and Product Management teams to deliver high‑quality products in a fast‑paced environment. * Adapt quickly to change, maintaining a relentless focus on results. * Own the success of key software releases and act as a trusted leader delivering high‑quality software to customers. * Drive planning and execution of new features from concept to GA, leading cross‑functional delivery teams including PM, Engineering, QE, and others. * Manage and deliver critical project features requiring partnership across multiple teams. * Build and maintain the release master plan (schedule, dependencies, risks), using your technical and product background to identify and resolve issues proactively. * Champion software lifecycle best practices, metrics, and high‑quality standards. * Provide accurate, independent reporting on release status to executive leadership. * Maintain high standards of communication, execution, and teamwork. * Use influence and leadership skills to ensure smooth delivery of software features. **What You Will Bring** ----------------------- * Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * **7\+ years** of experience in software engineering, quality, and project/program management leading cross‑functional teams. * Practical experience with Agile methodologies; PMP certification is a plus. * Strong technical background in software engineering with genuine passion for high‑performance, high‑quality software delivery. * Excellent oral/written communication and analytical skills; strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities. * Exceptional influencing and collaboration skills, especially in complex or ambiguous environments. * Ability to build strong relationships across the organization. * Proven ability to maintain urgency and drive program delivery. * Experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices. * Comfortable collaborating across time zones in distributed teams.
