




**Circulatory System** **Job Objective:** Students are expected to understand how this system is essential for transporting nutrients, oxygen, and waste throughout the body, and how its proper functioning is vital for the organism’s overall health. **Activities:** * Learn the anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, understanding the structures involved (heart, arteries, veins, capillaries) and their role in transporting blood and other fluids throughout the body. * Understand blood circulation mechanisms, including systemic (major) and pulmonary (minor) circulation, and how blood is pumped, oxygenated, and transports nutrients and waste. * Study the characteristics and functions of blood, including its components (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma) and its roles in oxygen transport, immune defense, coagulation, and thermal regulation. * Monitor each student. **Requirements:** * A degree and professional license in physical therapy, medicine, or a related field is mandatory. * A master’s degree — degree and professional license — is desirable. * Teaching experience of three years. * Familiarity with platforms such as Teams, Blackboard, or similar is desirable. **Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organization * Ethics **Why Work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 65 years of academic experience, social commitment, and professional vision.
