**Job Profile: Accounting Assistant** **Position:** Accounting Assistant **Department:** Accounting / Finance **Location:** Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico **Employment Type:** Full-time **Work Mode:** On-site **Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or related field (graduated or currently studying) * **Experience:** Minimum 1.5 years in a similar position (preferred) * **Technical Knowledge:** * Recording of accounting journal entries * Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable * Bank reconciliations * Electronic invoicing (CFDI) * Use of SAT portal (XML download, RFC validation, etc.) * Basic tax knowledge (Income Tax, VAT) * VAT and accounting ledger reconciliations * Fixed assets (recording and documentation) * **Tools:** * Excel (intermediate level: pivot tables, basic formulas) * Accounting software (COI, CONTPAQi, SAE, Aspel, or similar ERP systems) **Competencies:** * Organization and attention to detail * Responsibility and confidentiality * Teamwork * Ability to follow procedures and guidelines * Proactivity and willingness to learn * Availability of time. **Main Responsibilities:** * Recording of accounting transactions in the system * Support in preparing monthly tax returns * Control and filing of accounting and tax documents * Preparation of accounting and financial reports * Support in bank reconciliations and review of accounting ledgers * Assistance to the General Accountant or external accountant in required tasks * Preparation of monthly VAT and accounting ledger reconciliations * Issuance of income CFDIs Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $10,500.00 – $11,500.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Savings fund * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Preferably reside near the Cuautitlán Izcalli area Education: * Completed Bachelor’s degree (preferred) Experience: * General Accounting: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
