We are looking for responsible, honest individuals with a passion for service to join our team as Cashier.** Position Purpose The Cashier will be responsible for processing product payments, accurately operating the cash register, and providing exceptional customer service, serving as the final point of contact and representing the store's professionalism. Key Responsibilities and Functions * **Cash Handling and Payment Processing:** * Process sales transactions (cash, credit/debit cards, and vouchers) quickly and accurately. * Perform daily cash reconciliation and closing, ensuring amounts match sales records. * Report any discrepancies or issues with the point-of-sale system to the immediate supervisor. * **Customer Service:** * Greet customers politely and courteously, providing assistance or answering basic questions about products and promotions. * Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, facilitating a pleasant shopping experience. * Efficiently pack customer purchases. * **Organization and Cleanliness:** * Keep the cashier area and work equipment clean and organized. * Ensure that cashier supplies (bags, paper rolls, etc.) are always available. * **Additional Sales:** * Inform customers about current promotions and loyalty programs. Requirements * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months to 1 year of verifiable cash handling experience, preferably in supermarkets or retail sector. * **Skills:** * Proficiency with point-of-sale terminals and payment systems. * Fast counting and accuracy in cash handling. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Honesty, responsibility, and punctuality. * **Availability:** Flexible schedule to cover rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. * **Education:** Minimum completed secondary education.
