Forestry Technician

**THE COMPANY** Planalto is a forestry company that stands out in the region for its sustainable approach, carrying out forest plantations and forest restoration based on permaculture principles: no use of chemicals, high consideration for the environment and natural resources, and human development. We have an 800-hectare plantation program with native species and 350 hectares dedicated to conservation, as well as a forest nursery with capacity for 400,000 plants. In March, we completed certification for carbon credits with CAR (Climate Action Reserve), becoming the first in Mexico. We collaborate with international universities from Mexico, Germany, and Canada. We were selected by the World Resources Institute as part of their Global Restoration Initiative. We have been selected by organizations One Tree Planted, Arbor Day, and Reforest’Action as one of the projects they support in Mexico. Our reforestation model is multifunctional, focusing not only on timber production but also on removing carbon from the atmosphere, producing hematoxylin and biochar, and benefiting the conservation of endangered species. This year, we have requested CONANP to recognize our land as a Voluntarily Designated Conservation Area. Our operational center is Rancho Santa Lucía in Palizada, Campeche, located just minutes from two municipal seats. The ranch has all services, including internet. **JOB DESCRIPTION** Contribute to the success of the reforestation project by being responsible for executing and supervising reforestation activities and maintenance of sustainable forest plantations. Responsibilities include supervision and execution of forest management in plantations, as well as planning reforestation activities.
