Position Summary: Field Forestry Technician with experience in identifying plant species, establishing and maintaining reforestation efforts, and operationally planning forestry activities. Operational planning and supervision of forestry projects **Forestry Technician** with proven field experience in plant species identification, establishment and maintenance of reforestation efforts, as well as operational planning of forestry activities. Capable of executing and supervising technical work in reforestation projects. **KNOWLEDGE:** · Forest sampling and monitoring techniques. · Use of GPS and georeferencing tools. · Basic proficiency in Excel and Word. · Driving sedans and pickup trucks (valid driver's license). **SKILLS** · Fieldwork capability and resilience under variable environmental conditions. · Planning and organization. · Ability to lead field teams and collaborate effectively in teams. · Attention to detail and commitment to technical quality. · Strong oral and written communication skills. **RESPONSIBILITIES** · Reforestation and maintenance activities. · Identification of forest species and local vegetation. · Application of appropriate planting methods according to ecosystem type. · Supervision and execution of maintenance tasks in reforested areas (pruning, irrigation, weed control, plant replacement, etc.). · Support in developing schedules and operational planning for forestry activities. · Field data collection and preparation of technical reports. · Coordination with operational staff and forestry field teams. Employment Type: Full-time, Project-based or Fixed-term Contract Duration: 9 months Salary: $18,000.00 per month Education: * Completed Bachelor's degree (Mandatory) Experience: * Reforestation maintenance: 3 years (Mandatory) * Plant species identification: 3 years (Mandatory) License/Certification: * DRIVER'S LICENSE (Mandatory) Willingness to Travel: * 100% (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site employment
