Job Summary: We are seeking a Network Engineer / Telecommunications Coordinator to lead and coordinate telecommunications projects in offshore environments, ensuring operational quality and continuity. Supervise technical personnel on-site (offshore platforms) **Position:** Network Engineer / Telecommunications Coordinator (Offshore) **Location:** Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche (including offshore deployments) **Work Schedule:** 5x2 with availability for mobilization to offshore platforms **Vacancies:** 1 FTE **Job Description:** We are seeking a **Network Engineer / Telecommunications Coordinator** to lead and coordinate telecommunications projects in offshore environments. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising critical communications infrastructure, as well as ensuring quality, operational continuity, and compliance with standards on marine platforms. **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead telecommunications projects, ensuring execution quality and achievement of objectives. * Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Design and implement network and telecommunications solutions. * Supervise technical personnel on-site (offshore platforms). * Participate in field diagnosis and resolution of complex failures (onshore/offshore). * Ensure compliance with technical, operational, and safety standards. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors. * Monitor network performance and propose continuous improvements. **Technical Scope:** * Telecommunications networks: LAN / WAN * Microwave links * Satellite communications (Starlink) * VHF/UHF radio systems * VoIP * Security systems (CCTV, NVR, access control) **Service Level Agreements (SLA):** * Remote response time: 15 minutes * Mobilization time to heliport (in case of offshore deployment): 1 hour **Requirements:** * Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Systems, or related field. * Experience in design, implementation, and support of telecommunications networks. * Experience leading projects or coordinating technical teams. * Solid knowledge of networks, protocols (TCP/IP), and telecommunications architecture. * Experience in industrial or offshore environments (preferred). * Availability for mobilization to marine platforms. * Technical English (preferred).
