**OPERATIONS MANAGER – AGRICULTURAL SECTOR.** **Location: Uruapan, Michoacán.** **Monday to Saturday.** **Position Objective:** To lead, coordinate, and supervise all operational, administrative, and strategic activities of the avocado orchard, ensuring efficient, profitable, and sustainable production with a focus on results, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** * Plan and supervise key agricultural tasks: pruning, fertilization, irrigation, fumigation, harvesting, etc. * Efficiently manage human, material, and financial resources of the operation. * Coordinate operational and supervisory staff, fostering a productive and disciplined work environment. * Supervise compliance with phytosanitary, environmental, and food safety programs. * Manage procurement, supplier relationships, and field contractors. * Prepare and present technical, operational, and financial reports. * Promote sustainable and innovative agricultural practices. * Ensure compliance with agricultural quality standards and certifications. * Manage marketing and sale of fruit to various packing houses, securing optimal negotiation terms for quality and price. **Required Profile:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management Engineering, Agro-industry, or related fields. * **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years in managerial or high-responsibility operational roles, preferably within the agricultural or agro-industrial sector. * Demonstrable experience in team leadership, operational control, and budget management. **Desirable Knowledge:** * Avocado cultivation and technical management (desirable but not mandatory). * Business Administration. * Costs and budgeting. * Financial analysis. * Agricultural certifications (e.g., GlobalG.A.P., SENASICA, etc.). * Field-applied technology (irrigation systems, monitoring tools, agricultural software). * Commercial relationships with packing houses and avocado buyers. **Key Skills:** * Leadership and strategic decision-making. * Operational organization and discipline. * Clear and effective communication. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Results- and efficiency-oriented mindset. * Commercial negotiation skills. **Additional Conditions:** * Primarily field-based work. * Vehicle and tools provided by the company. * Opportunity for career growth within an established company in the sector.
