Directly impact plant performance **Summary** Core Molding Technologies is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead plant engineering operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance. This role is responsible for process engineering, new product launches, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement. It leads cross-functional teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives, while supporting key initiatives such as DCPD process transfer and Power Sports operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the plant engineering function, including process engineering and mold changeovers * Ensure achievement of KPIs (safety, people, quality, delivery, and cost) * Lead new product launches (APQP, NPI) * Manage DCPD process transfer and industrialization * Support and optimize existing processes (Power Sports) * Develop and improve manufacturing processes, layouts, and standards * Manage capital investments in equipment, tooling, and processes * Implement and sustain Lean and continuous improvement initiatives * Resolve quality issues using root cause analysis (A3, 8D) * Ensure process control systems (PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC) * Manage engineering changes under formal procedures (IATF 16949\) * Coordinate maintenance strategies for equipment reliability * Develop and train the engineering team * Participate in internal, external, and customer audits * Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 * Promote safety culture, 5S, and environmental responsibility **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field * 5–8\+ years of engineering leadership experience in manufacturing * Experience in process engineering, industrialization, and APQP * Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and process optimization * Experience in plant transfers or new program launches * Advanced problem-solving skills (Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis) * Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Advanced English and Spanish (required) **Preferred** * Master’s degree in Engineering or related field * Experience in injection molding, composites, or similar processes * Experience with DCPD processes **Key Competencies** * Leadership and talent development * Continuous improvement mindset * Adaptability and change management * Teamwork * Discipline and execution * Results- and customer-oriented focus **Why Join Us?** * Lead key engineering and manufacturing initiatives * Participate in a dynamic and growing environment * Directly impact plant performance * Culture rooted in continuous improvement and collaboration **Recruitment Agencies** We do not accept unsolicited resumes from external agencies.
