For more information, visit www.cimmyt.org CIMMYT is seeking an outstanding, self-motivated, and results-oriented professional for the position of Security Agent to work in the Risk Management area. The position is located at CIMMYT's campus in Agua Fría, Puebla. **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor and protect movable/immovable property and individuals present on site. * Verify compliance with institutional security conditions. * Record the entry and exit of CIMMYT employees, suppliers, and visitors to maintain control over individuals present at the Station. * Conduct random vehicle inspections of staff and continuous inspections of supplier vehicles. * Perform regular patrols throughout all areas of the Station, ensuring that facilities and personnel are safe and secure. * Provide required support to individuals within the station, following established security procedures. * Promptly report any abnormal situation detected to the immediate supervisor and/or manager to take appropriate corrective actions. * Verify that firefighting equipment is in place and functioning properly. * Inspect doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are securely closed and sufficiently robust to withstand potential threats. * Assist personnel present at the facilities who request general information. * Support emergency brigades during working hours and act as a brigade member outside working hours. * Respond to telephone calls and provide information during non-working hours. **Requirements** * The selected candidate must have a minimum of a high school education. * At least 1 year of experience in a similar position. * Basic knowledge of civil protection (first aid, emergency response, evacuation, and rescue, etc.). * The position holder must be available to work night shifts and weekends and holidays according to service needs. * Knowledge of the English language will be an advantage. * The selected candidate must demonstrate the following competencies: Critical Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, Customer Orientation, Problem Solving, and Decision Making. **Benefits** CIMMYT offers an attractive compensation package and supports continuous professional development.
