If you’re seeking a company with real impact, an agile culture, and growth opportunities, we want to meet you. **Position Title** DevOps Cloud Engineer \- GCP / Snowflake **Department** Data Science **Location** Mexico City, Mexico **Purpose of the Role** Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, ensuring secure and efficient integration between Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Snowflake. This role is responsible for automating deployment pipelines, optimizing resources and costs, and guaranteeing connectivity and security of data environments to support business requirements. **Requirements:** --------------- **Key Responsibilities** * Design, code, and deploy cloud infrastructure from scratch using reusable and modular code. * Address new business requirements by adjusting existing deployment pipelines and infrastructure configurations. * Configure and secure connectivity between Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and Snowflake, including access management (IAM), VPCs, and private links. * Create and maintain automated CI/CD workflows for application and infrastructure deployments. * Implement monitoring and alerts for resource consumption and cost tracking in GCP and Snowflake. * Ensure security best practices by applying the principle of least privilege. * Perform troubleshooting for pipelines and network connectivity issues. **Candidate Profile Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields. * 2–5 years of experience in DevOps Cloud Engineering roles. * Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing infrastructure on public clouds, with emphasis on database or data warehouse automation. * Essential knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Knowledge of Snowflake, including Storage Integrations, roles, secure connectivity, and basic administration. * Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform highly preferred; CloudFormation or Ansible also acceptable). * Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Google Cloud Build. * Familiarity with Docker and foundational concepts of Kubernetes (GKE). * Proficiency in Linux (Bash) and Python for task automation. * Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification is desirable. **Expected Competency Profile** * Autonomy and proactivity to research and implement technical solutions with minimal supervision. * Assertive communication to translate business needs into technical infrastructure solutions. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability in cloud environments and pipeline systems. * Security orientation and application of best practices for access control and data protection. * Adaptability to dynamic and multicultural environments. **Our Cultural Fit** We operate with speed, focus, and purpose.
