In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support for complex commercial issues and contracts. **Your Responsibilities:** * Partner closely with business stakeholders in purchase functions on vendor contracts. * Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including services agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, software agreements, consulting agreements, marketing agreements and licensing agreements and associated SOWs. * Advise on appropriate dispute resolution strategies for each of these contractual relationships. * Assist in continually improving form agreements for a range of supply chain purchases and procurement. * Support employees' understanding of the company's contracting process and policies through the preparation of training materials and employee communications and the provision of periodic training sessions. **What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):** * Degree in law. * A minimum of 7 years of general commercial counseling and/or litigation experience. * Knowledge and understanding of commercial contracting; Experience leading or ability to lead commercial transactions as well as drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements. * Fluent English. **What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):** * Previous experience within the animal health, pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated industries. * Previous experience counseling on procurement\-related matters. * Strong business acumen and mindset towards cross\-functional collaboration. * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively including strong facilitation and presentation skills. * Demonstrated ability to network internally and externally to influence without authority. **Additional Information:** * Hybrid Work Model: 3 times in the office **Elanco Benefits and Perks:** We offer a comprehensive benefits package focusing on financial, physical, and mental well\-being while encouraging our employees to pursue our purpose!
