**Bar Supervisor**
Hotel Sector
**Job Mission:** supervise bar staff performance within their work areas, as well as verify equipment functionality and product stock for service.
**Main Functions and Responsibilities:\_**
* Inspect bar equipment, machines, and storerooms at the start of each shift.
* Coordinate bar area operations during special events.
* Follow up on fruit requests submitted via email.
* Place bar orders based on inventory levels.
* Monitor and record temperature measurements in accordance with current regulations.
* Organize and direct assigned staff, assigning tasks per shift.
* Hand over keys for each bar to the respective responsible person.
* Conduct inventories of tableware, equipment, linens for events, pool towels, and fire extinguishers.
* Hold informational meetings with staff regarding hotel occupancy, guest service, cleanliness, procedural compliance, and area assignments.
* Conduct operational walkthroughs across bars to verify proper functioning.
* Prepare minutes of informational meetings and send them to the Quality Department.
* Report equipment or machinery malfunctions or defects through the external vendor logbook.
* Review bar operational checklists.
* Verify one day in advance room and event requests managed by Public Relations.
* Request required event linens from laundry services according to established procedures.
* Continuously supervise assigned staff.
* Supervise bar operations and assigned personnel during their shift.
* Supervise requested function rooms and verify their correct operation.
* Participate in training courses provided by the hotel or external institutions.
* Record refrigerator and product temperatures in accordance with the Distintivo H standard.
* Verify bar cleanliness and product condition.
* Supervise bars located in buffet and themed restaurants to ensure service standards.
* Verify proper implementation of Distintivo H guidelines.
**Requirements:**

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
* High school diploma
Experience and Technical Knowledge:
* 1–2 years as a bar assistant or supervisor in hotels of a similar category.
* Knowledge of workplace equipment, environmental and hygiene policies (Distintivo H), and computer skills (Office suite).
* Basic level of English.
