




**General Job Purpose** Ensure that all construction activities are carried out according to designs, coordinates, levels, axes, and technical specifications through accurate, reliable, and timely topographic surveys, layout markings, replanning, and verifications; guaranteeing geometric control of the project and minimizing the risk of construction errors. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Perform topographic surveys. * Execute layout markings and replanning for any structural element. * Validate levels, alignments, and elevations according to drawings and specifications. * Operate equipment such as total station, optical level, laser, etc. * Process data using specialized software (Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Topcon, Leica, Revit, AutoCAD). * Prepare drawings, topographic reports, and calculation records. * Conduct periodic inspections of structural elements to detect deviations. * Participate in coordination meetings with site supervisors and contractors. * Maintain updated topographic logs. * Request and document equipment calibration and maintenance. * Ensure compliance with technical standards (local, national, or specified by client). * Safeguard digital information and backups of surveys and layouts. * Propose improvements in layout and verification procedures. * Prevent construction errors through prior analysis of geometries and drawings. * Participate in quality control reviews to detect deviations.
