Monitor recreational facility activities and respond appropriately per local operating procedures in case of an emergency. Identify situations where guests cannot safely participate in an activity and report them to a supervisor/manager. Demonstrate knowledge of local and cultural heritage. Prepare for each activity, ensuring your partner or assistant is also prepared with necessary materials, and guide the group at all times. Comply with company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company property. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to a manager; complete safety training and certifications. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and fulfill guest service needs; assist guests with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Adhere to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational quality. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery; traverse sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing 75 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or equivalent. Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory experience: Supervisory experience not required.
