




Job Summary: Coordinate, implement, and supervise the Safety, Health, and Hygiene Management System on construction sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and accident prevention. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the Occupational Safety and Health Management System in compliance with applicable regulations. 2. Promote a safety culture and prevent workplace accidents. 3. Plan and conduct emergency drills and coordinate emergency response teams. Constructora GODA is seeking: Occupational Safety and Hygiene Coordinator Requirements * Education: Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety and Hygiene Technician, and/or Paramedic * Age: 27 to 50 years old * Gender: Unrestricted * Minimum 6 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Hygiene, preferably on vertical construction projects. * **Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and supervising the Safety, Health, and Hygiene Management System on construction sites, ensuring compliance with current legislation, internal policies, and applicable standards. Primary function is to prevent accidents, incidents, and occupational illnesses, as well as promote a safety culture among both direct employees and contractors.** **Main Functions** * **Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System:** Coordinate system operations in accordance with STPS regulations, Civil Protection requirements, and client guidelines. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with current legal provisions regarding Occupational Safety and Health. * **Verification of Applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs):** Supervise compliance with NOMs related to work at heights, excavations, lifting operations, electricity, machinery, and required documentation formats. * **Safety and Hygiene Committee:** Establish, coordinate, and follow up on the Safety and Hygiene Committee in accordance with NOM-019-STPS. * **Inspections and Site Walkthroughs:** Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly walkthroughs to identify unsafe acts and conditions. * **Document Management:** Administer and maintain up-to-date mandatory documentation for STPS, Civil Protection, and the client. * **Training:** Coordinate training programs, onboarding sessions, and safety, hygiene, and health awareness initiatives for all personnel (“daily safety talks”). * **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):** Analyze, manage, and verify proper procurement, usage, and replacement of PPE in accordance with regulations. * **Emergencies and Drills:** Plan and conduct emergency drills (earthquakes, fires, and contingencies); additionally, manage and monitor the contract with an external company providing ambulance services. * **Emergency Response Teams:** Coordinate emergency response teams and incident response plans.
