Professional Profile Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting (mandatory) Desirable: o Master’s Degree in Finance / Taxation o Certification (e.g., tax, auditing, internal control) Key Experience: 8–15 years of total experience 3–5 years in a similar role: o Controller 𝑜 Corporate Accounting Manager Experience in: o Companies with complex operations (multi-unit or multi-site) o Handling audits (SAT, IMSS, Infonavit) o Direct handling of tax reviews 𝑜 Implementation of internal controls Ideal background: o Business group o Retail / industrial / services sector with volume o Experience implementing ERP systems NOT solely from an accounting firm (this is critical) Critical Technical Knowledge Tax compliance (ISR, IVA, DIOT, CFDI, etc.) Tax audits and basic defense IMSS / payroll / employer-employee contributions Internal control (SOX-type adapted) Robust reconciliations and financial closing Cash flow and budgetary control ERP system management (ideal if migration or implementation experience exists) Key Competencies Unquestionable integrity Structured thinking and discipline Ability to detect risks before they materialize Crisis management Ability to say “no” to General Management when required Control-oriented mindset—not merely record-keeping Trust builder with General Management / Board STRATEGIC ROLE AT CODISEL This position must go beyond accounting.
