




**Geotechnical Engineer** * **Minimum Experience:** 6 years in geotechnical studies for road infrastructure, including at least 2 projects in seismic or mountainous areas with tunnels (>500 m). Experience in soundings (SPT, CPT) and slope stabilization. * **Certifications:** Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, specialization in Geotechnics (master's degree or diploma), certification in NTC\-SCT or ASTM D1586 standards. * **Evaluation Criteria:** Previous geotechnical reports (e.g., laboratory tests, stability analysis), participation in tunnels or projects involving unstable soils, references from projects such as Autopista Arriaga\-Ocozocoautla. * **Others:** Familiarity with seismic risks (Norma Técnica Complementaria para Diseño por Sismo, G12\.2017) and tunnel geology. **Functions:** Conduct soil investigations (SPT/CPT soundings), analyze slope stability, recommend treatments for unstable soils, and assess seismic risks. Provide data for foundations and earthworks. **Responsibilities:** Responsible for the geotechnical stability of the project according to SCT Construction and Installation Standards (Earthworks) and AASHTO standards for geotechnical engineering. Covers all sections, with emphasis on mountainous areas (Section 1 and 2\), ensuring mitigation of landslides and erosion.
